Brief about our Organization:

In 2015, Vanam India Foundation started green work by planting saplings with Palladam as its headquarters.

For this organization, the Vice-President Mr. Ganeshwar donated his 18 acres of land on the Coimbatore - Trichy highway and contributed a lot to build 'Vanalayam'. On 21.01.2019 in Thaipusam day, 'Vanalayam' was inaugurated by Dr. Thiruperundru Shanthalinga Marudashala Adikalar and started the charity work in full swing.

Vanam India Foundation is operating with its headquarters in the ancient city of Palladam, which is shining with the culture and dignity of the people of the Kongu naadu with the slogan of the five great principles.

As 7 years,

Planted 7,02,655 saplings.
planted 12,03,590 palm seeds.
Establish quality nursery in collaboration with Government Institutions,
Agricultural Colleges.
Development of 98 forest project areas.
More than 350 houses have rainwater harvesting facilities.
Conduct 63 monthly awareness seminars.
We created green awareness throughout our Palladam area with the ``Pasumai Ratham'' Awareness vehicle, worth Rs.75,00,000/-sponsored by Ramraj Cotton.
A JCB machine worth Rs.35,00,000/-sponsored jointly by The Chennai Silks and Sri kumaran thanga maaligai was used for plantation work.
Established a nursery with more than 80 varieties of saplings.
Established an herb garden with different types of herbal plants.
Established a star vanam containing of 27 trees associated with 27 stars.
Established Navagraha forest for 9 planets.
Established a zodiac forest for the 12 zodiac signs.
‘Maram Oru Varam’ Scheme encourages every person to plant a sapling on important occasions in their life and to promote the charity of appreciating nature.
Under this scheme, Employees of Namakkal NTC Company appreciate nature worth Rs.3,00,000/- lakhs annually for their birthdays.
Promoting the tradition of planting saplings of Mookurthakaal trees and honoring the culture of starting marriages as per our tradition.
Established a play park for children.
Established a physical training ground with appropriate equipment for adults…
1 km range walking path has been constructed and Surrounded by bamboo trees which provide more oxygen.
Bring children from a schools and colleges to the Vanalayam every day and create awareness about the importance of nature.
Vanam has made MoUs with 17 organizations like Universities, Colleges and other service organizations.
We have achieved 2 Tamilnadu Environmental Awards for years of 2019 & 2029 totally.
Vanam India Foundation conducts annual Green Trips to learn about green technologies from around the world and implement them in our region.

More than 930 trustees, more than 1000 volunteers combined in our organization.
