About Vanam India Foundation
Founded in 2015, Vanam India Foundation is a Tamil Nadu-based NGO on a mission to fight climate change by growing India's green cover — one tree at a time. Over the past 8+ years, our 1,200+ trustees have planted more than 10 lakh trees across Coimbatore, Tirupur, and Erode, with follow-up care to ensure every sapling truly thrives.
Our flagship project, Vanalayam Eco-Green Recreation Park, spans 18 acres in Palladam — home to a nursery, cultural hall, and a scenic 1 km walking trail. Beyond planting, we work on rainwater harvesting, composting, and turning waste into wealth, partnering with colleges and research institutes across Tamil Nadu.
